One thing I love about LeTourneau: The deans of all of our schools
really care about our students!
One thing I loved about college: I received a great education, yet what really
sticks out from my college experience are the life-long friendships that continue to bless me.
Most important thing I learned in college: Find balance. Know that you're in college to learn, and learning takes work. But enjoy the people, fun opportunities, and challenges that come your direction all the time as well!

Faith journey: My parents are incredible people who trust the Lord in ALL that happens in their lives. Our family has faced some interesting trials, as most families do, and the example that Mom & Dad have set through it all tells me that Jesus truly is the Lover of our Souls and the Father of all. His love has carried my family, allowed Light to show in dark places, and continues to bring Joy in all circumstances. I know Him because He continues to pursue me, no matter what.
Favorite Colors: Red & Cobalt Blue...I also love pink!
Favorite Designs: Paisleys, Fleur-de-lis, stripes
Things I Love: My husband & our families; our Golden Retriever, Ace; laughing with our friends; a good novel; vanilla lattes; sleeping in; baby animals (specifically lambs!); kids; teaching; trust in a faithful God.
Favorite Places: Home in Powell Butte; camping & skiing at Cultus Lakes, OR; any beach with sun, sand and a boogie board; and DISNEYLAND!!!
Favorite Bible Verse: Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Quirks:
- Our small group from church says that I'm a master at all "potatoey" recipes.
- I don't like bones.
- Friends often catch me singing silly songs or impromptu dancing.
Future Goals/Dreams: Learn Italian; Spend more time in Europe & South America; Learn how to knit; Learn to play the guitar; Work for Chancellor Michelle Rhee; I would love to have some land where I could grow & preserve our own produce, raise a few cows, pigs, sheep and chickens, and sustain my family from our own land!
